Taking online courses to become a certified Medical Coder & Biller. I'm about three and a quarter courses away from finishing.

Teaching students (mostly career changers)about IT System Admin- Windows NT, 2000. Advanced students work on Exchange, SQL, Cisco switches and routers, entry level web design

Introduce career changers to IT Support. Assist in developing study plans, conduct lab exercises, create test projects. Develop study guides, build practice exams

* Studied the importance of privacy and confidenciality, according to HIPAA
* Studied medical terminology, which is very challenging, which taught me how to understand the medical terms.
* Studied how to communicate effectively.
* Studied medical billing concepts, and what is expected to receive proper payment of claims, CMS and UB-92....

Currently engaged in developing requirements for a Computer Management System (CMS) ???a new web application to allow for reporting, documentation and task management of all school computers, labs, preventive maintenance records, tasks, notes, etc.

Student Materials Request System (SMRS) -a new web application to allow for improved tracking of student lab materials, tools and media.

Book Management System (BMS) -a new web application to allow for improved management and reporting of student textbooks and textbook inventory.
