Here's my advice about working with a recruiter...Ask them about their background? Is it creative, advertising, marketing, interactive? If it's not...well...

Are they vested in their community at large? I'd rather bring people to the Dallas Fort Worth community. It builds our creative base, brings great people to town, helps us win business here...and provides me with interesting new friends!

Respect your craft. Work with someone who cares about you and your career. I tell people, if you can't find a position through me, you'll find one because of me. I'll work the resume, coach them, advise them, prep them and help them network.

Finding amazing talent. The Dallas interactive market is booming. After 5 plus years traveling North America as the Director of The Creative Group, I can appreciate great interactive initiatives and agencies. Dallas has them. They are stealth, but they are here...
