The best thing about working as a literary agent was finding up-and-coming writers and encouraging them in their work. I was particularly focused on cookbooks and memoirs. I was lucky enough to work with Elizabeth Andoh on her book Washoku, Jennifer McLagan and her book Bones, and Robb Walsh's The Tex Mex Cookbook. Wish I could list every project I helped shepherd--I loved them all!...
