How would you describe what you did at The Leaf-Chronicle?

Started at the front counter as a switchboard operator and circulation representative. 3months was promoted to Advertising Assistant to the Director of Advertising. There I gave support to both the management and sales staff. 1 year later was promoted to Outside Account Executive to which I made goal 16 out of 17 months and was named Salesperson of the Year. In March 2004 I was named as Retail Sales Manager responsible for 4 retail territories. In March 2006 I aquired 3 more Outside Account Executives and was responsible for 6 retail territories.... read more

What's the secret to getting hired at The Leaf-Chronicle?

Outgoing person with a desire to suceed. Money driven and motivated. Able to work with little supervision in an outside sales position. Previous sales experience and customer service experience preferred.

Retail Advertising Sales Manager with 5 sales representatives. Responsible for developing and implementing effective marketing campaigns for local business's for print and online advertising. Trained, coached, mentored new and current staff.
