Experiences at The River Creek Club

On the initial interview I did a detailed walk through and was able to identify numerous operational problems which I addressed during the interview process. Pre interview reasearch revealed member dissatisfaction in both service and staffing, I devised a course of action prior to the interview that was well received by the inteviewing committee....

The most challenging aspects of the River Creek Club was gaining the confidence of the membership. There were 4 golf professionals hired in the first 6 years of operation non of which met member expectations. In the first year it was necessary to replace almost all of my key employees and hire a new a support staff.

Initially all of my programs weather they were dealing with outside operations, tournament procedures, or my merchandise mix were met with skepticism by the membership. By hard work and persistence I was able to gain their confidence and eventually provide the type of golf operation they deserved.......
