The three best things about working for this particular company were:
1) Training-Vanguard trained each and every employee to be competetive and ready to knock out the competetion
2) Projects-Six Sigma is well and alive at Vanguard and each employee, no matter the skill set is encourgaed to participate in the DMAIC process.
3) Performance based pay-This says it all. You work hard...you get acknowledged for a job well done....

I wish the company gets a little flatter from organization perspective and I wish we could respond faster as the environment change around us.

Vanguard is a very mature and very stable company. Getting ahead in terms of career advancement is really hard.

1. Designed a system for Vanguard's Print Mail operations, automated tedious task of entering data into multiple systems and delievered real value for vanguard's share holders.
2. Integrated Business Intelligence applications with Vanguard's web sites allowing Vanguard to deploy analytical reports on the web in real time.
3. Redesigned mission critical web applications for Vanguard's retirement plans site....
