Confidence in yourself. I went in with confidence and I told him that I loved waiting tables and I loved making people happy and that I was good at it. The great thing about that is that it is true. I am a huge people pleaser. I cannot tolerate it when someone is disappointed in something that I do....

As a server I waited happily and efficiently on customers, got them checks and change, ran checks and credit cards. I made a lasting impression on the customers.
As a floor supervisor I discounted checks for unhappy customers, made their experience better so that they would join us again.
I was responsible for taking server's cash-outs and closing and locking up premises securely at end of shift....
