What do you miss most about Toys 'R' Us?

The thing I miss most about Toys 'R' Us is merchandising the sales floor and seeing all the new products before anybody else. I miss this because it brought out my creative side and I was very good at it.

What are the most challenging aspects of your job at Toys 'R' Us?

The most challenging aspect of working at Toys 'R' Us is trying to get everything done. For example you may be assisting a customer on the sales floor, while you need to get a certain section merchandised and put out new products, while being called to cash because the cashiers are very busy. I did many different jobs at Toys 'R' Us. This includes being a cashier, running customer service, learning abou the different sections and merchandising them, and assisting customers on the sales floor.

What's the secret to getting hired at Toys 'R' Us?

The secret to getting hired at Toys 'R' Us is to apply during the Christmas season. This is when Toys 'R' Us does most of its hiring because it is mostly a seasonal industry. If you make a good impression during the season you will get hired on after the season is done.

I learned how to run a register. Then learned customer service . helping guests find what they were looking for. I was in charge of customer service desk and our credit card desk. etc.
