How would you describe what you did at UCSB?

Conducted research in visual neuroscience. Specifically i looked at how vision is affected by normal aging using mice as a model. I have also worked on various projects investigating comparative color vision across mammalian species. In each of these projects I frequently utilized electrophysiology (ERG), immunohistochemistry, behavioral experiments using animals(psychophysics), and other histological techniques. I have also performed polymerase chain reaction examining the opsin gene expression in various species.... read more
