What are the most challenging aspects of your job at US Air Force?

The most challenging aspect was when I had to perform very specific tasks with a narrow margin for error while under incredible stress. Anything I've experienced in life since is rather relaxed in comparison.

How would you describe what you did at US Air Force?

* Lead 96 military personnel and 14 civilians assigned to 16 duty sections.
* Responsible for the operation, accountability, and maintenance of $19.5 million vehicle fleet, while overseeing a $2.1 million budget.
* Ensured 145 vehicles and 99 tons of cargo were prepared and processed during
week long inspection - resulted in "Excellent" and "Best Wing in 2 ?? years" ratings.
* Lead Reorganization Ceremony - organized and managed more than 4,000 personnel.
* Managed the ordering and accountability of $24 million in supplies and equipment.
* Planned and coordinated over 900 training validations for 300+ members.
* Implemented new training program - reduced training time by 30% and increased scores 6%.
* Responsible for training, maintenance, health, welfare, and discipline of 72 personnel and $50 million worth of fuel in support of 56 aircraft.
* Integral in receiving Governor's Award for Outstanding Achievement in Pollution Prevention.
* Ensured safe and timely delivery of 22 million gallons of jet fuel with an 8-minute average response time - well below the 15 minute standard.
* Oversaw $10.8 million construction project - completed 3 months ahead of schedule.

Trained in advanced aircraft systems troubleshooting, engine run certified. Worked as liaison between flight crew and off station maintainers determining maintenance needs and expediting aircraft repair.

Developed curriculum and trained over 150 entry level aircraft mechanics. Educated students on duties and responsibilities related to aircraft maintenance, safety, FOD prevention and forms documentation.
