How would you describe what you did at US Marine Corps?

I have ended 9 years of honorable service in the United States Marine Corps. One of my many assignments throughout my service was personnel and site security, which is not much different from a corporate security position.
I held the much-coveted position of the Marine Corps Presidential
Security, in which only the top .3% of the United States Marine Corps are selected. As a first responder to the Pentagon, during the deadly attack on September 11, 2001 I became the Marine Corps, Emergency Response Commander, charged with the security of all personnel evacuated.
After relief of my duties as the ERT commander, some 64 hours later, I requested and received redeployment to combat units in both Afghanistan and Iraq for the next 6 years. One of my many duties was, Platoon Commander of 15 specially trained marines for security of the Battalion Commander and all senior unit leaders.
With the unit's movement, to Al-Fallujah, Iraq in October of 2004, I was the forward unit security commander for perimeter and personnel security. The unit was to become the lead combat unit for the 22,000 combat personal deployed in the battle to retake the city from the insurgents. During this ensuing battle, I was the unit commander's personal security officer, conducting more then 100 combat missions from November 2004-December 2004.
During the Hurricane Katrina rescue effort in and around New Orleans, I was the security commander, as well as an Operation Officer for the battalion. My duties included security for the rescue teams as well as coordinating rescue operations with the Florida- Fire, Rescue, and Crisis Response Teams. After my return to Camp Lejeune NC, I received a Navy-Marine Corps Achievement Medal for my actions in and around Louisiana.
On my last Marine Corps deployment in 2006, I was the senior security commander for the State Department ordered, Non-Combatant Evacuation in Beirut, Lebanon, coordinating with State Department personal, for the evacuation of more then 20,000 Americans and foreign nationals from the war torn country.
In today's world, corporate security is now of the up most importance, I have no doubt that I could fill your need for a highly trained and motivated person. I would be a valuable asset, bringing my experience and expertise to your organization.
