I went in at 4:00am every morning mon-fri, i rarely called in sick or showed up late. I loaded three trucks by my self and was good at it.

What are the most challenging aspects of your job at United Parcel Ser vice?

Raching your quota for that particular night,If you had call offs and we had to get 23 trucks that was a real challenge.Our average was 19 a night with a full crew if you didnt have full crew and still have tomake or exceed your qouta it could br very challenging.

I unloaded at least 8trucks alone I was a top unloader and I always got the new guy,so I could show them the correct and fastest possible way to get the job done .I must admit I had three guys that showed me different styles, and my supervisor was rough and she was a lady, so I couldn't let a lady out work me.I incorporated a technique of my own to get the job done.... read more

Hard work! If you cannot do physical labor and don't have the energy to push yourself at clutch time then you would never make it at this job,very physical and demanding.

Load and unload trucks,voice their cities ina microphone so they would get shippedto the correct detination in a specific time frame
