Not easy! And this goes for anyone who are thinking about applying for this position of a package handler. Yes, I will say that UPS is one of the best companies in the world. No doubt. It is a competitor of DHL, FedEX, and the USPS. And happy birthday UPS for celebrating 100 years of service. (Had to get that out!) The position of UPS is commonly known of package handling in which you lift packages out of trailers and into the hubs for sorting. That is all you do! Also you have to take a cornerstone training course in which you learn about the atmosphere of the company, workplace violence (yes it's true!), how to identify chemicals, hazmats, proper lifting, and these words: don't touch, leave area, notifiy supervisor. Sounds pretty easy? Probably. And the classes are boring! No joke!!! You will sometime face hygenie problems part of the time, and I hate to say this that chances you would be injured. I suffered a shoulder strain on the job, and I was sidelined for about a week. And after I hurt my shoulder, I vowed never to do that again! If you like the job, I have nothing against that. The company also has advancements which I learned through interviews and the website. - Such as Industiral Engineering Management. - (BTW I am looking for more information about this position. If there are some more info, let me know.)...
