I unload packages off of tractor trailor beds. I also scan packages to be placed in the correct package car. Often I assist in loading package cars so that our drivers will have packages easily accessible for delivery. I have participated in our "helper" system which I was required to learn the ins and outs of our drivers responsibilities and duties....

Operated UPS carrier truck. Delivered and retrieved packages on an assigned route, in a timely, customer friendly manner.

Managed the Labor Relations Office for UPS. Skills acquired were but not limited to: customer service, employee and public relations with District Level Management, as well as District and National Union Representatives, office supply purchasing, disciplinary procedures, report generation, contract re-writing, process grievances, file archiving, event planning, travel arrangements , develop/initiate/schedule and present labor relations seminars and contract administration and ratification in a very fast-paced environment. Other duties included inventory control, training in safety measures, and analyzing/projecting budgetary needs for the District office, as well as the Obetz facility. I completely automated the Labor Relations Office. Also responsible for recruiting, managing and administering of benefits for clerical employees. Responsible for reviewing resumes and qualifying candidates, scheduling/tracking interviews, subsequent interviews and intensive reference checks, providing offers of employment, training the new associate for their position and providing benefit support for the new associates. I also provided services to other District Level Managers....

During the christmas hoildays of 2005 and 2006, I was responsible for meeting the drivers at the locations, and assist the drivers in delivering and/or picking up packages from customers. Often times I used the DIAD boards to scan in packages for each stop required.
