How would you describe what you did at United Parcel Service?

I unload packages off of tractor trailor beds. I also scan packages to be placed in the correct package car. Often I assist in loading package cars so that our drivers will have packages easily accessible for delivery. How would you describe what you did at United Parcel Service?

Managed the Labor Relations Office for UPS. Skills acquired were but not limited to: customer service, employee and public relations with District Level Management, as well as District and National Union Representatives, office supply purchasing, disciplinary procedures, report generation, contract re-writing, process grievances, file archiving, event planning, travel arrangements , develop/initiate/schedule and present labor relations seminars and contract administration and ratification in a very fast-paced environment. Other duties included inventory control, training in safety measures, and analyzing/projecting budgetary needs for the District office, as well as the Obetz facility. I completely automated the Labor Relations Office. Also responsible for recruiting, managing and administering of benefits for clerical employees. Responsible for reviewing resumes and qualifying candidates, scheduling/tracking interviews, subsequent interviews and intensive reference checks, providing offers of employment, training the new associate for their position and providing benefit support for the new associates. How would you describe what you did at United Parcel Service?

During the christmas hoildays of 2005 and 2006, I was responsible for meeting the drivers at the locations, and assist the drivers in delivering and/or picking up packages from customers. Often times I used the DIAD boards to scan in packages for each stop required.
