There really is no secret to getting in the Army. Be in good shape, a motivated person, and someone who is willing to work hard. You have to care about other people more than yourself and be willing to sacrifice your life for your country which I feel is one of the biggest honors their is. I would do it all again... read more

I realized that I have only the limits that I accept. When I decide that I will accomplish a new challenge or task, I understand the work necessary and the investment needed and I have the belief that I will be successful. You fail only when you refuse to try.

The commraderie, there is no where in the civilian work world that you have that type of teamwork and support. The competition, you hone your training, improve your performance and become better than you ever imagined, because of the competition. Training young soldiers to perform under the intense pressures of an elite combat unit in peacetime and in combat, with the knowledge that their success and ultimately their survival was my responsibility.
