How would you describe what you did at UnitedHealth Group?

Assisted members, physicians and nurses with questions about Medical Insurance benefits and claims issues. Participated on a pilot program for Medicare eligible members with questions concerning their policies. Researched if claims were paid correctly...if not sent claims back to processing with benefit guideline insight as to how plan states claim should be paid so the claim could be paid correctly. Worked as a team player. Helped employers with Medical Insurance enrollment issues. Advised employers of policy payment status and reinstatement procedures. Assisted employers requesting ID cards for employees. Adhered to HIPPA guidelines in each area of duties. Routed information to be filmed so documentation in the computer system showed we received material member, physician, nurse or employer sent to UHG. Verified with caller if we received material sent...had to pull info up in system and actually see it had arrived. Many other duties.... read more
