How would you describe what you did at University of California - San Diego?

While maintaining a full-time student status over four years, I also worked 30-40 hours a week.
Being a Revelle student, I have been tested proficient in Calculus, Spanish Language, Humanities, Computer Programming, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
Being a Psychology major, I focused mainly on
Neurosciences (the biology and pathology of the brain), Behavior Modification, and Developmental Psychology.

Concentration: RF Circuit and Systems, Verilog HDL, DSP.

involved in IEEE NATCAR competition. Developed an automated car. I designed the analog portion, that all connected to a micro-controller.

I am currently enrolled in continuing education courses in the High Performance Computing area.

Courses include: Parallel Computations, Large-scale Systems Seminar, System Support for Applications of Parallel Computation, and Model Validation.

* Served as graduate research assistant working with ICESat science team via advisor Dr. Bernard Minster.
* Modeled
laser altimeter backscatter from ocean surfaces using programming languages Matlab and IDL.
* Conducted comparison of simulations with preliminary ICESat data.
* Referenced actual wave heights tracked by southern CA coastal buoys and incorporated multichannel satellite imagery of southern CA coastal waters (courtesy MODIS) to ensure clear, reliable conditions.
