Pursued interests in software development formally through classes toward a degree in what I love and informally being a part of NCSA, and ACM, programming for fun and dollars. Maintained a wide breadth of education through taking liberal arts classes as well to remain versatile in society.

Accomplished the synthesis of "HIP", a building block of the depsipeptide Didemnins. Developed a new method for the synthesis of enoyl and dienoyl tetramic acids related to streptolydigin and tirandamycin. Discovered novel reactions and rearrangements.

I was highly involved at the U of I through my sorority and other campus organizations. I am confident that I made an impact on my college campus and in the surrounding community.

Care and maintenance of animals used for research purposes, includes:
procedures such as administering test compounds and drawing
blood for clinical pathology. Maintained updated records for animals
involved in government approved studies.

Curriculum focusing on psychology and East Asian Language and Culture.

Regular ol' semi-focused liberal arts stuff, plus some work on the daily paper and writing/performing in plays. Someday I want to get back into theater and be a roadie!
