Experiences at University of Maryland

Majored in Education with an emphasis in social studies and graduated with a Bachelors in Science.

I am currently working towards my Masters degree in Library and Information Science. I currently have a 3.8 GPA and anticipate graduating in May of 2008.

I received a Bachelor's degree from the University of Maryland in English Language and Literature. I graduated with a 3.8 GPA.

For one semester, I was a teaching assistant for the three-credit RA instructional course: EDCP470 (Introduction to Student Personnel). I helped create lesson plans, grade assignments and lecture to a class of approximately 20 students.

Earned 30 Credits.

Studied Numerical Analysis, Linear Algebra, ODEs, and Real Analysis. Obtained a 3.0 GPA.

Decided after a year to pursue a career in industry.

Paid my own way and did it while working full time in the US Air Force

Majored in Economics, yet took as many Business classes as non-Business majors could take.

Worked 50-60 hours/week during school and all but one summer.

At the University of Maryland I formed many skills. The skill that supercedes the rest would have to be my time management skills. This has been proven when I maintained a full academic load as well as played a Division 1 Sport and became an assistant manager at a local restaurant during my college stretch. Wrestling on the Division 1 college level brought out my competitive nature, determination, urge to succeed, and ability to perform under pressure. The capability to balance all my obligations would sum up my college experience....

As an adult, I completed a comprehensive education course work
in Technical management, electrical engineering and business.
