BA, Marketing & Psychology, 1999 — 2004 Activities and Societies: Varsity Football

I pursued and received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a minor in International Peace Studies while acting in a number of departmental and student productions, eventually leading to the pursuit of a Master of Fine Arts degree in Acting at Indiana University.

My duties as a temporary employee were to fill in for many different offices and assist with office functions. My longest temporary assignment was with the Department of Development in which I assisted the Assistant Director in typing letters, memos and reports to University alum, donors and fans of the University. Received donations to the University and prepared for processing; updated information in the University database; processed filing; answered the telephones and completed other tasks as assigned....

The PreProfessional Department at Notre Dame insists that the Pre-Medicine and Pre-Dental students that it generates be well-rounded upon leaving the university. Not only did I study the hard sciences, such as Chemistry, Physics, and Biology, I also added a supplementary major of Philosophy to compliment my science workload. In addition, I spent a semester doing cancer research in a Cell Biology lab, where my lab group earned a prize for our presentation regarding the possible utility of an experimental cancer drug called Peloruside A....

I studied, I played, I learned.

I currently assist professor Alexandra Corning in her Social Cognition Lab. I have also served as the vice president for the student group Feminist Voice and will be the co-coordinator for AllianceND, the University's unrecognized gay-straight alliance, in the fall.
