What was the main reason for accepting your job (location, opportunity, money) at VTPP, Texas A&M University?I like building. Anything. I was looking for a job to help with paying for my masters at that time. This job was an engineer's dream, from my point of view. The pay wasn't much initially, but I couldn't turn it down.

What did you learn along the way at VTPP, Texas A&M University?I learned most of my C++ programming on this job. I had to write an application that would do data-acquisition in real-time, render it and control different components simultaneously.

How would you describe what you did at VTPP, Texas A&M University?I was tasked with building a fluorescence microscope. I worked with my supervisor, Dr.Avery McIntosh, in designing the system around an upright microscope. We had to design and fabricate mechanical components, put electronics together and develop a software application.
