don't be a rep. it is a depressing, life-consuming job. it is rare a happy customer tells you about their experience, but every school's order will have it's problems. you will hear about it on your cell phone, home phone, email; what i mean is, a varsity rep is basically on call 24/7. plus, Varsity pays for NONE of your work related expenses. you can claim them on tax returns, but expenses can be upward of 1/3 of your income, and uncle sam will only reimburse a fraction of that. then you'll get audited because of itemized deductions. it's a nightmare. please believe me; i worked for varsity for 9 years! now i'm in another outside sales position and a kazillion times happier!...
