What's the secret to getting hired at Victoria's Secret?

well there was no secret for me, they just hired me any a whole bunch of other people all at once. I HATED the job, never got a lunch, and I was a high school student at the time. They would make me stay from 4pm-2am and i had school in the morning at 7. It was the worst job in my life plus i didn't even have set hours i was always "on call" so i could never make any plans. So i just left, i didn't even give two weeks notice. It was the Victoria's Secret in Menlo Park Mall in Edison New Jersey and Faredia*(sp) was the manager. She in now managing in NY...how shameful... read more

I would have to say the most challenging aspect of my position at Victoria's Secret is identifying the needs of the client, while doing my part to contribute to the store's sales and credit goals.

How would you describe what you did at Victoria's Secret?

* Duties include: maintaining great client relations by offering them fittings, expert help, answering questions, and treating them according to the high ideals set by Limited Brands. A major part of my job is to make sales and help the store reach its targeted sales goals and new credit accounts.
* Canton, Ohio store is one of the top in the nation according to sales.
* Trained by management team in regard to product, sales and credit strategy, and dealing with client's requests. Also receive frequent training on new products and promotions.

The management team saw my potential as an excellent sales associate. They could tell I had great interpersonal skills, and gave me a chance, and I proved them correct!

What's the best team you worked with at Victoria's Secret?

The best team I worked with was under my first manager. I tend to work like those that train me. I've worked with her the longest and worked alike so it was easier to finish important tasks.
