What are the most challenging aspects of your job at Vocus?

Of all the four sections of the database -- Newspaper, Magazine, Radio and Television -- managing the Magazine portion was the most challenging. There are so many more magazines being published that newspapers, radio stations or television stations. Also, because each magazine is so unique in what it covers, tagging each one to the appropriate category code, and training others to do so correctly without supervision, what very challenging. How would you describe what you did at Vocus?

I managed a team of 2-3 senior media researchers and 8-16 media researchers in building and maintaining the magazine portion of a media contact database. This entailed writing and editing outlet and contact profiles, interviewing and hiring staff, and managing a variety of related projects.
