How long did it take for you to land your job at Vulcan Maritime?I was lucky, in so much as I have never really been unemployed since graduation. All three of my jobs I have been offered and accepted prior to quiting my then, current, job. Jobs in the maritime industry seem to be plentiful for people with the right skills and I have turned many a job down.

What was your major and how applicable is it to your position at Vulcan Maritime?I have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Marine Transportation. My major is 100% applicable to the current job I hold as an officer in the US Merchant Marine and 3rd Officer on a large private yacht.
