Experiences at WOOZCO

Several years ago I was asked by a customer to design a training program for their business. This caused many problems as we were working in a direction not normally part of training. However, the outcome was successful and we found a new source of revenue for WOOZCO - selling our training services as a consulting operation....

The need to cut expenses over the past few years led to the implementation of e-learning operaitons. With a functioning e-learning operaiton, we were able to limit travel and time away expenses.

I established the formal training operation at WOOZCO. Some of my duties included developing training material and programs, interacting with managers to ascertain training needs, designing leadership and succession programs and designing the e-learning system we use.

The system knowledge I gained from earlier positions and the skills I have related to training and adult education helped the President of WOOZCO offer me an opportunity to join the company.

I established and managed the training operation for WOOZCO. In addition to general managerial duties I successfully designed training material and systems, and started an e-learning operaiton.
