i work in the vision center, its a great job you check in merchindice, get them out to coustomers, fix and clean glasses, teach people how to put in and take out contacts, do alot of testing to keep your knowledge up to date and do pretests and commucate with the doctor

There is no real secret to getting hired. You just have to be available 24/7. That is what they want, a person who's entire life revovles around Wal-Mart.

Transported frozen items that are received on a truck to their designated freezers. Unloaded items from the pallets and placed on portable floats. Then carried the items to the sales floor and placed the items in the correct location. Operated a 960 scanners and printer to make inventory prep labels for the items. Placed all items that would not fit onto the sales floor back into the freezer on the correct shelves. Helped out by getting all
items ready for store wide inventory. Priced items on the sales floor that needed new price tags. Started off by building new case displays on the end sales floor isles. Assisted
customers when they needed help with finding a certain item....

I started as a cashier. As a cashier I learned the Register, Customer Service, and Layaway. From there I moved to Toys for the holiday season. In toys I helped maintain the overall appearance during the holiday season. I helped to ensure that the shelves were stocked and the merchandise was priced accurately. I helped to assist customers with there needs. From Toys I moved to TLE. In TLE I check customers out. Help maintain the overall appearance of the area. I help to maintain accurate stock levels through the PI screen by maintaining accurate on-hands. I assist in doing price changes, setting modular, and display's in accordance with company policy. I also help to keep the back room on the 7-14-30day program set up by home office....

-Assisted customers in showing them the jewelry of interest to them
-Boxed purchased jewelry and disclosed all the warranty information to the customer during the sale
-Organized costume jewelry
-Set up new modules for different parts of the department
-Responsible for taking special orders and putting things in and out of layaway
-Prepared the department for the next day (cleaning and organizing the entire department for closing)
-Pierced ears...
