What did you learn along the way at Walgreens?

I've learned to rely on myself and my ability to figure out solutions to many problems that would arise spur-of-the-moment. Adaptability and above all, the ability to get along with just about everyone. I learned to utilize these skills on a daily basis.

Honestly i think u have to know someone to get in walgreens or keep calling everyday all day to make sure they keep you in mind about the next opening.

What's the secret to getting hired at Walgreens?

The best thing that I would reccomend is to take your time on the initial application (but not the skills assessment), and if no one calls you, to be pesistent in coming and becoming personal with the manager. Allow them to know your name and that you are sincere about wanting this job. Do not bring children, come in wragedy or torn clothing, or with jewlry in your mouth, and just show a good personality. Be tenacious; tenacity is the key element.... read more

Promptly checked customer's items out and tendered cash, credit/debit card and check payments.
Stocked and rearranged shelves on a regular basis.
Accurately assisted with question's regarding health and beauty items and location of other items in store.
Cleaned area and shelves.
