Experiences at Walgreens

My great customer service experience and great smile.

I am basically the head of the department I have 3 girls that assist me.I started as a service clerk and about three months later got transfered to the cosmetics department. The manager made me the senior beauty advisor about 2 months later. It is a lot of responsibility but it can also be very challenging and fun. We are a great team.Sales are higher then they have been in years and we recieve a lot of compliments on our customer service and creative displays....

Having friends that work here would be great.
They could represent you and you would get the job faster.

The most challenging aspect of this job was to keep up with the monthly quotas. This particular store did not receive as much business as the other stores in the area so we had to work twice as hard to keep up.

I did a ton of advertising. Sometimes I was able to be creative and build displays for contests and to promote the product of the month. It was competitive and goal oriented.

After my interview with the manager, he said that I seemed very outgoing and professional but that the main reason he hired me was because I gave him full eye contact the entire interview.

I mostly ran the front end but I learned a variety of jobs here.

I didn't even have a computer or a typewriter so I hand wrote a nice resume and sent that in.
