How did you find your job at Walt Disney World?

My sister has worked at disney since she was 16, and they had a summer job opportunity going where the family of a cast memeber could work there for the summer at 15 years old.

What are the most challenging aspects of your job at Walt Disney World?

Honestly, for me it was learning how to plate the food, and learning how the front counter was set up, so i didn't give a person the wrong order.

How would you describe what you did at Walt Disney World?

I got a chance to have a great job, working with some really great people. I had fun at my job everyday, and there was never a dull moment. I really enjoyed the smiles of the children when they saw the characters for the first time. I even liked the managers! but the kids were the best part, knowing that you made a kids day is a great feeling, even if all you did was give them a cookie because they looked sad.... read more

What's the secret to getting hired at Walt Disney World?

Well disney is very good at keeping secrets, but i would have to say you need to have a happy-go-lucky type of personality. You need to be friendly and approachable. and you always have to wear your best smile.
