I was the store manager. I was responsible for handling all facets of the business from the processing of shipment to the customer experience. I had to ensure that the business not only ran smoothly but successfully. In my 6 years with Wet Seal, we continually ranked amongst the top stores in the Company. Everyday I recieve certain tasks from either the Store manager or the District Director on ways to improve the stores sales, appearance and all around productivity. Many of my duties are but not limited to relaying projects from the Store Manager as well as the District Director directly to the sales associates, keeping the store in an upbeat fashion, recieving and distributing shipments and I assist in managing a store team consisting of 15 selling associates and support associates. Our store provides fashion clothing on many levels so as part of my job description, I am to know different aspects of the fashion world. I assist customers with honesty and generosity and provide them with the best shopping experience....
