What are the most challenging aspects of your job at
Wilson Farms?
I feel that the most challenging aspect of my job at Wilson Farms was watching the gas pumps to make sure no one drove away without paying. I made sure to ask each customer if they had pumped gas when they came to the register, but the occassional "drive off" still occurred. I worked the night shift, which made it difficult to see the makes and models of the cars at each pump and I was too far from the cars to make out the license plate numbers, so if someone did drive off, I was unable to describe the vehicle....

How would you describe what you did at
Wilson Farms?
While employed at Wilson Farms, my job title was "cashier," but my responsibilties extended beyond the realm of pushing buttons and making change. I was responsible for running three types of registers; the basic cash register for customer purchases, the register for the gas pumps, and the lottery machine/register. Wilson Farms has a coffee area in which I brewed coffee, cleaned the counters, restocked the lids, straws, creamers, sugars, etc., and emptied and cleaned out the coffee machines at the end of each night. I also swept and mopped the entire store during each shift, made sandwiches (if needed), changed the prices on the gas pumps and signs, and "faced" the items on the shelves. "Facing" is the process of organizing the items on the shelves, moving items from the back of the shelves to the front of the shelves, and making sure that the lables are facing forward....
