This job is unique, in that the primary focus at the interview was on language skills. No emphasis was placed on skills and experience in the insurance industry. I do the job mainly for the foreign language contact, so that's the biggest motivator for me.

I drive from my other job, along three main highwways and a side street, and it only takes 15 minutes driving between both places. In the winter, though, it can be difficult and you have to be careful.

I don't drink coffee. To me, brown has never been a good color for liquids, and besides, it's intolerable without sugar, which takes away the point coffee anyway. By the way, decaf is good for...what?

I came in with no knowledge of insurance at all, especially the way the government runs their programs, so I would say learn something about insurance and about military services.

This job details with insurance services to the military, so I'm learning quite a bit about government-administered services and all the procedures that have to be followed, especially how long things can take, and how military and other government employees just have to get used to the waiting part....

I don't know about the others, but I finish at 6 am, so I go home to my family, to whom I promptly say goodnight, and I sleep.

I answered an ad in the paper and voila, 3 months later they had done enough background research to offer me a position.

I work very early morning hours, and there are only 4 other people during my hours; plus, we work on the telephone, so dress is very casual, but we still look like we're at work.
