What was your major and how applicable is it to your position at WorleyParsons Gas Cleaning?

I obtained my B.S. in mechanical engineering at the University of Texas at Austin. I apply the principles of engineering including thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and heat transfer in the analyses I perform.

How would you describe what you did at WorleyParsons Gas Cleaning?

I am a process engineer that provided consulting services to the steel producing industry. Specifically I analyze and model the air pollution control systems of steel mills. Work tasks include going on site to collect data, make observations, and test systems. Analysis includes mass, heat, and energy balances. Depending on the scope of the project we make recommendations, develop cost estimates, and compile material requisitions for improvements to existing systems.... read more
