Started up a Marketing Technologies unit responsible for developing and managing Zurich North America's website, www.zurichna.com. Initiatives included partnering with key groups managing third party relationships, global cross-unit strategy, and senior management liaison/interface. Worked closely with distributors, customers, and sales force. * Developed and implemented enterprise wide e-Commerce strategy that enabled business units to transfer underwriting and marketing operations online and allowed customers to manage their risk management processes. Online growth exceeded plans in terms of premium volume and number of registered users. Premium volume via the Internet grew over 2,800% over four years. * Provided internal marketing and consulting services to business and support units in developing, utilizing and maximizing online capabilities. * Conceived and designed a wireless application, using the Blackberry, linked to customer relationship management system, to support marketing and sales efforts. Resulted in increased sales and higher productivity of account executives. * Spearheaded the development of email marketing programs and strategies. Cross-selling of products increased 15% and customer retention levels stayed high. * Directed the development, training, and roll-out of enterprise-wide Customer Relationship Marketing system to 5,000 users. Developed sales tools, training and collateral material to support roll out of system. * Managed and staffed New York-based Marketing Service Team responsible for providing all marketing, market research and communications support for New York-based Business Units.
