Understand people that spoke very little english or very broken english. I didn't like asking them to repeat themself.

Making my customers feel valued was very important to me. Showing them I cared in a real way for them and what was best for them. Being able to explain every thing to them so they completely understood and felt good about their service with Bellsouth. Making them feel like they were the decisoin maker not me.....

A job as a Bellsouth Customer Service Rep works in a call center and is in a professional, service-oriented environment. You must be skilled, enthusiastic team players to help meet the competitive challenges.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Consult with customers to recommend and sell a variety of telecommunications products and/or services to meet customer's needs.
Utilize appropriate sales techniques to encourage a good customer relationship and enhance the buying experience. Must have data entry and problem solving skills.
Interact with on-line systems while communicating with customers.
Must meet sales quotas and service objectives and you must meet customer care commitments.
In this type of work environment you must possess excellent communication and negotiation skills. You must be willing and able to work indoors and remain at your desk for most of the day and spend most of your time on a computer using a telephone with a headset.

Job Duties (which were many) Include (but not limited too): Helping customer to get the correct Setting up phone #, phone service, selling all the services that are used by a phone customer, explaining all charges on their bill, making adjustments and corrections, calming customers down when upset. Selling to their needs advising what would help them the most, being a friendly face on the other end. Trying to help them find the problem when they needed repair to narrow down the time to get service back up and working. I have had just about every sales and customer service train class that Bellsouth has offered in the last 28 years. I would like to work fulltime with your company using my passion for people....
