??? Responsible for product architecture and design for a dot com company (one-to-one marketing space). This is a very challenging solution with a high degree of scalability and data throughput requirements. Acted as Technical Director, on a team of 30+ members; built a relationship with the client's CTO; helped secure additional funding by pitching the product to VCs.
??? Managed 10 Senior Architects across North America and recruitment for the national group.
??? Work closely with CTO on various technology management aspects including supporting alliances, methodology, large project sales, proposal support, and developing internal technical career paths.
??? Member of M&A team prior to Cambridge's acquisition by Novell. Articulated synergies of the merger, assessed products and solutions and presented to executive management on both sides. Received a commendation from the CEO for my contributions.
??? Architected a Sales and Support Portal for Hewlett Packard. Worked with business units to scope problem; gap analysis; developing use cases, followed by Object-Oriented analysis and design.
??? Responsible for troubleshooting performance problems and re-architecting solution for the Shipment Tacking System for APL. Also implemented an internet based software distribution solution.
??? Responsible for architecture, planning & leading the implementation of a Registration and Care Coordination System using JAVA & CORBA. Developed a reusable framework for this project. Managed the customer relationship and development team for this 180 man month project.
