What's the secret to getting hired at cerner?

Responsible for the management of the relationship of specific corporate technology companies to grow revenues/margins utilizing the following strategies:

Communications
* Develop and deliver internal, external collateral (training documents, marketing plans, sale
program templates,
solution description reports)
* Analyze and report on Line of Business reporting/metrics

Sales Support
* Develop strong working relationships with sales, delivery and support teams to ensure that product offerings
are brought to market effectively
* Prepare targeted sales offerings including specials/promotions and solution white space reports
* Manage all aspects of price file database for his/her line of business to ensure accuracy for quoting
purposes

Partner Management
* Manage, coordinate a new partner process (from Business Case to sales launch)

Designing high quality software systems using good design patterns in client/server architecture using C++, oracle and DB2 databases.

What are the lunches like at cerner?

Cerner has a cafeteria on the main campus; however, I usually try to get some leg-stretching time by hitting a local restaurant or going home for lunch (it's only approximately 10 mintues away).

What do people wear to work at cerner?

Business Casual most of the time (nice pants and a collared shirt). There are the occasional jean Fridays and of course if you're going to be client-facing, you should wear Business Professional.

The interview process at Cerner is definitely a little longer than I've experienced at most places. Don't get discouraged if you don't hear anything right away.
