I greeted guests warmly to our dining room and served them old-fashioned country meals complete with never-ending drinks, fluffy biscuits and hot cornbread muffins. As a server, I communicated customer desires to the cooks via order tickets and actual conversation. I ensure order accuracy and rushed to serve the meal in a decent time (You can't get a well-done steak in five minutes). I had to keep a smile while carrying a 15-20 pound load on one arm to a table and communicate any problems to the management. I also assisted fellow servers and trained new members to the team....
