We had a customer who purchased a special order item. This normally takes about 7-10 days for ship to the store. We never got it after 2 months. It ended up being discontinued when the order was placed. Corporate noticed this and informed us 1 month into this and sent it to the wrong store. My manager decided to offer what we did have in stock to the customer for a discounted price....

Keeping up with all the customer bikes, and selling warranties.

I started with building bikes and servicing customers bikes. i also maintain 2 departments, Bikes and Fitness. I have gone to 5 different stores for setup before grand openings.

Knowing how to play a sport, how bikes work, how to hunt, what camping is like, how to golf. Be willing to learn new things. Always have a welcoming smile for customers

My role at Dick's Sporting Goods is supporting the Real Estate growth of the company. I perform research and analysis for potential new stores and forecast sales for each potential store. I'm also in charge of keeping track of our competitors as well.
