How would you describe what you did at electronic arts?

I was responsible for the planning, procurement, and inventory management of all Affiliated Label finished goods to support over $100 million in annual sales. Responsible for software purchasing and manufacturing of titles for select Affiliates. I personally supported as many as 22 Affiliated Labels, over 600 titles simultaneously. These affiliates included many well known gaming companies as LucasArts and Nova Logic. I coordinated new product releases with other departments in the company. I established, managed, and maintained all related vendor relationships for printed parts/components, duplication, and final packaging and assembly. Instrumental in the research and sourcing for initial CD ROM manufacturing. Key player in the successful negotiation and execution of all related vendor contracts.... read more

Function as a strategic business partner supporting senior executives, managers, and front line employees through the development and implementation of cohesive recruiting, retention, performance management, employee relations, and compensation plans. Facilitate improvement in HR systems and process through the integration and utilization of available technical and human resources. Redistribution of operational work flow to eliminate redundancy and made resources available for strategic initiatives and enhanced customer service. What's the secret to getting hired at electronic arts?

Have a pulse and very low self esteem. EA/Tiburon is absolutely the worst possible place to be hired, and EA recruiters know it. They will push the job like used car salesmen. Have that 'employment agreement' reviewed by an attorney, especially the parts about 'moving expenses'. The wording is deceptive (as are the recruiters).... read more
