I was hired as a secretary for both a manager and a senior manager. I was responsible for typing, filing, answering of phone calls, faxes and any other things needed. After a maternity leave I came back to the same department and filled a job vacated by another employee in the book-keeping department. In this department I audited the moving of household goods bills for employee relocations, I assisted with the tax forms at the end of the year and any other duties requested by the book-keeper....

I believe the "secret" to getting hired at Ernst & Young was no secret at all. I believe they look for professional people who truly care about people. I respected the fact that they were able to look past the fact that what I may have lacked in education (college) I more than made up for with enthusiasm and a desire to perform to the very best of my abilities. I worked with a group of extremely well rounded individuals who valued the chance to work, to raise families and to meet personal and professonal goals...all under the umbrella of a company that offered support for all of these....

Brought key problems to managements attention as auditor. As Consultant solved company problems.

Developed and executed the entry-level recruitment program for the National Internal Auditing Practice. Recruited, hired and negotiated offers with 40-50 full-time and 5-6 intern candidates per year for the National Security and Technology Solutions Practice. Coordinated recruiting activities at 12 national focus schools which included: developing and maintaining relationships with professors and placement offices, coordinating and driving recruiting activities, and overall responsibility for the firm's brand and image on campus. Other responsibilities included developing and maintaining relationships with local business unit leaders, providing training/guidance to recruiters and client service recruiting teams on the recruitment process and managing/coaching two direct reports....

Recruiting for all levels within Ernst & Young.

This was a 6 week Contracting Position - Updated and incorporated all year to date changes to the Entrepreneur of the Year Award Manual to allow for publication and training.

* Collected requirements from the client including all changes made to the program since the manuals last update
* Created new sections based on the changes to the web program
* Provided overall testing and troubleshooting of all aspects of the new web system to ensure software and data integrity and accuracy
* Provided / Prepared all documentation required for the training class including manual printing instructions...

Performed some reverse audits and did research for several clients in the Nashville area.

* IPO's: Drafted S-1's, worked with underwriters and attorneys.
* Industries: Medical devices, Computer hardware, Video games, Internet.

I currently recruit for the Finance & Performance Management Practice. This is a newly formed global practice which provides an independent financial and performance advisory function to the C level executive.
