Experiences at group health cooperative

I worked with a top geriatrician on a study designing primary care tailored to meet the need of seniors.
I spent two years piloting a unique care transitions program designed by Dr Eric Larson. This program met the needs of hospitalized seniors in providing information on health care needs, educating both senior and family on chronic care, medications, and how best to manage their health to optimize quality of life.
Long term care and skilled nursing facility rounding was also part of my experience as a Group Health nurse practitioner...

Assisting surgeons with various medical procedures in Minor Operating rooms, preparation for scheduling of surgeries, Obtaining vitals, Coordinating referrals, Maintaining patient flow of the clinic, Stocking exam rooms, Assisting various medical staff with tasks and procedures

Developed & revised Sponsored Care Program information / materials for patients and staff, including department intranet, trainings, letters, forms & brochures. Handled traffic coordination: organized projects, timelines, workflow, etc. Drafted operational policies & procedures, produced financial reports, and provided administrative support....
