How would you describe what you did at howard university?

While attending Howard University, I obtained my Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Management. This degree program requires an overview and understanding of business from accounting, marketing, finance, information technology, business analysis and management point of view. Graduation requirements included internships, providing managment consulting/business analysis to local business owners and submitting proposal/marketing plan for new business venture. Particpated on the track team my Freshman year, volunteer NIKE P.L.A.Y games, member of the Entreprenurial Society, and WHBC College Radio (assoc promotions manager). Volunteered as a management team leader as part of the School of Business' Freshman Orientation and Mentor program. (2nd year students mentor a group of 15-20 incoming freshman students.) This group is sponsored my a fortune 500 company in terms of educational and career development. Recieved awards from National Honor Society, Bronx District Attorney and Borough President Citation of Honor and Entreprenuerial award from Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation for a business proposal that was submitted as part of competition.... read more
