I filled in at a difficult time with the team at Telecom Finance -- they were short a person or two, a major system upgrade was in progress, and the work just kept on coming. I did whatever needed doing: making phone calls, filing, creating reports, doing research, and so on. It was a fast-paced, something-new-every-day kind of experience, and I knew I was needed. How would you describe what you did at jpmorgan chase?

I would describe this experience as a very interesting one, in that it provides an individual with the every day workings of the corporate world. Team work is the primary function of the sourcing and procurement dept. in which I work. We outsource for suppliers whether it be for paper and envelopes, to IT software, to the parts needed to build atms. In this particular dept. in which I work I regularly engage in the researching and the creation of contracts(Master Agreements) as wll as the schedules and amendments included in the aformentioned master agreements. Overall I believe that this internship has provided me with very valuable work experience in order to reach the goal of becoming a financial analyist.... read more

* Supports the Workflow Manager, and other members of the Practice Group in daily activities; filing, typing, faxing, message taking etc. Make travel arrangements as necessary.
* As requested, create files for new matters assigned to attorneys
* Maintain supply levels, coordinate ordering as
needed. Ensure functionality of office machines, contact the support areas as necessary.
* Maintain employee attendance for all department members as dictated in each site. Process and maintain business-related expenses.
* Arrange meetings, conference rooms, calls and bridge lines. Arrange catering as requested.
* Retrieve faxes, sort and deliver mail, overnight mail etc. Photocopy documents as requested.

I started out in our Credit Card Department and have moved up from there to my current position. I have done retail banking (loans,savings,checking, ira's and CD) I have done commerical banking and now work in compliance doing fraud investigaitons for commerical banking.
