How would you describe what you did at lowes?

* Presently, at Lowes I am a customer service associate. I was the top seller in my department for three straight months. I receive and move a variety of parts, components, assemblies of mowers, grills, and swing sets into and out of the storage area/stock room to the sales floor. I prepare and move items in an accurate and prompt manner. I have assembled some items. I store items by UPC code numbers. I special order items, and cross reference information for customers. I routinely check special order items to ensure items ordered and documents correspond. I move items to their destination within the store in an accurate and prompt manner. I assembly items and deliver them to the proper location. I properly label and identify shelves and racks. I store items on shelves and racks, storing them by UPC codes. I routinely prepare accurate and complete record of daily actions, and ensure documentation is signed in a timely manner. I verify items received by customers and sign receipts. I cross reference information on various parts. I operate the LPG forklift, and the electric in-store forklift (sidewinder), electric cherry picker, electric pallet jack and regular pallet jack. I have received operating and safety training on the items previously mentioned. I comply with all safety rules, procedures, and practices for operating power equipment. I perform work in a manner that better the safety of the work area, an obey OSHA and safety regulations. I do everything possible to maintain the safety of the customers. I effectively and safely operate the fork lifts controls to avoid overloading or improper stacking or movement of supplies and materials. I safely load, unload and place boxes and materials to its proper location. I keep the vehicles that I operate in good appearance and assure its condition for periodic inspections. The forklifts I operate are capable of lifting loads weighing less than 10,000 pounds to a height of at least 168 inches. I drive the forklifts through narrow aisles in the building routinely using spotters and in as safe a manner as possible. I also drive the vehicle outside on occasion. I consistently operate all vehicles in a safe manner at all times. I strictly adhere to safety and security procedures and report any observed violations to my supervisor. Also, I replenish and stock inventory. I appropriately wear and maintain the required safety equipment (harnesses, etc), and promptly ensure all material are properly stored and put away. I am always aware of my environment (height, width, length, and weight of vehicle) in order to judge overhead and side clearance, turning radius, braking distance, and to maintain a safe distance from other vehicles
* At Big Lots, I sold furniture, assembled furniture and delivered furniture to residential homes. Also, I worked as a customer service associate. I prepared special order worksheets and kept records of services in progress, and notified customer when service was completed and accepted payments. I handled replacement of defective items covered by warranty.
