Not being afraid to go speak to someone that you need a job. It may seem awkward because it may seem as if I was needy when I asked; however, there is no such thing as a stupid question. The worst they can say for not being hired at a Department for a work-study job was "No!" It is best to be personable and truthful with the staff because everybody is human. Although, it probably was not the best compensating job, working for Polytechnic University as a student aide for the Department of Athletics was very rewarding....

Provided office and facilities assistance to the Department of Athletics; including answering phones, maintaining databases, emcee at athletic events, and various special projects.
