How would you describe what you did at rhode island college?

As an Instructional Technologist, I was responsible for the management and training of a small group of students, usually new every semester. Based on what I taught them, they could troubleshoot small matters such as display issues, software failure, and network connectivity as well as keeping notes on misplaced items like projector remotes, missing equipment, and disconnected cables. Part of training included building and repairing PC's and troubleshooting OS and software problems, touching minimally in Active Directory and server based printer installation. The main aspect of this role was as Help Desk Support, answering phones and creating work orders in Track-It. Besides running a weekly room check schedule, I maintained a running inventory and resource database for which I made into an HTML integrated SharePoint communication site for staff and faculty. This site included training documentation I created and a photo inventory for each piece of equipment in which I photographed.
I personally was also responsible for all faculty trainings ranging from electronic classroom use to software manipulation for both novice and advanced users as well as scanning for various HP and Epson scanners and presentation advice. The software I've provided training for are MS Office 2003 including Publisher, PowerPoint and FrontPage (I've been tested as an advanced user by Robert Half Technology and TAD Technical for Word, Excel and PowerPoint), photo editing and scanning software including Photoshop, In Design, Paint Shop Pro and Animation Shop, as well as Irfanview. I've also taught website design with Dreamweaver, FrontPage, and HTML in MS Notebook along with WebCT site setup.
In my time as a student, I also held two classes for User Support Services faculty and student employees for Dreamweaver and troubleshooting classroom projection systems. These systems were typical for electronic classrooms but also have more advanced structures that included Crestron touch panel and media controllers, Extron VGA interfaces and distribution amps, audio mixers with microphones and Sennheiser audio assistance built in, speaker arrays, CD/tape recorders, Epson Projectors, documents cameras, DVD/VCR combination units, SMART Boards and Sympodiums, as well as Furman power conditioners and QSC amplifiers. I was also responsible for overseeing any events held in such rooms as an onsite technician and run crew.
Lastly, I was also responsible for the filming, documenting, writing, sound recording, and editing of various films created for new computer lab staff trainings, current school technology use for the college president, "How- to" videos for the new Management and Information Technology building, and freshman orientations for incoming students. I edited these videos using an array of software including Final Cut Pro, Premiere, Ulead Video Studio 8, and Camtasia via both Apple's and PC's.
