Experiences at rollins college

For seven years I worked in the Student Resource Department. Our department had advisors for first year students, students with disabilities, students on probation. We also provided tutors that helped fellow students in particular subjects as well as writing consultants who helped on written assignments. I managed our TutorTrac server, set up the profiles each term for our student employees and those who used our services. I also managed the payroll and all paperwork for our 60 plus student workers. Maintaining the office budget as well as ordering office supplies was part of my purview. Being available to these students was an important part of my job even though it may not be listed on my job description....

Genuine respect for others and the way each employee (collectively and individually) works toward equipping our students to succeed in a diverse world is a primary goal of the staff at Rollins. Rollins College is a place that values it's students, the professors, the administration, support staff, housekeeping and all others. A desire to serve has been rewarded and acknowledged by those in authority....

Trained, supervised work study students, maintained work schedules and payroll for 60 students, balanced office budget and ordered supplies as well as maintained office equipment

In charge of on-campus recreation, organizing Intramurals, and assisting with game & facility management.
