What's one of the projects you worked on at setfocus?

I've worked on numerous projects at SetFocus. Some of the things I've worked on:
1) Writing monthly press releases about what is new and up-and-coming at SetFocus.
2) Conducting student video interviews, editing them, and posting them on the SetFocus website

What's unique about working at setfocus?

I think one of the most unique things about SetFocus is our one-of-a-kind remote training via what we call the GRID. The GRID stands for Global Remote Instructional Delivery. It allows two-way interaction for anyone, anywhere with the students, instructors, and faculty here at SetFocus. I've never seen anything like it - it's more advanced than most technologies I've ever been exposed to.... read more

How did you find your job at setfocus?

I found my job through a posting on monster.com. I then came in for a preliminary interview with the VP of Marketing and Sales. I came in for a second interview and spoke with the VP of Marketing and Sales again, the President/CEO, the Dean of Students, and the Director of Admissions.

What are the three best things about working at setfocus?

1) Being able to work beside an enthusiastic team of employees, as well as a driven and determined group of progammers-in-training
2) The satisfaction of knowing you are helping people with their careers and providing them an opportunity do what they love

How would you describe what you did at setfocus?

I am the Event Coordinator/Alumni Relations Representative. In a nutshull, I am responsible for coordinating, attending, and maintaining all on-site events (such as User Group meetings, Career Events, Luncheons), as well as off-site events (such a Microsoft MSDN events). I am also responsible for keeping in touch with and maintaining the alumni network of all the graduates from our training. Finally, I help out with the marketing side of the company - working on anything and everything ranging from student video interviews to press releases.... read more
